Rebellious groups such as gangs and other groups are mostly filled with teenagers rather than older people. The reasons for this in my opinion is that teens are more likely to act or experiment with drugs and alcohol. Most teens feel that they need to prove something or "fit in", also teen years are proven to be the hardest years in life says Elizabeth Somer of health and fitness. Teens also bring in more money drug wise then adults because the leader of social groups can pressure teens into trying things such as drugs.
The gang life in the United States is filled with more teenagers than adults this allows the drugs that the gang is selling to get around schools faster and much easier. Other professional experts in this subject agree because if they didn’t hen all of the "HIB" and drug awareness in schools wouldn't exist. Teens also are in not only the gang they are in but in other social groups and can persuade their other friends to experiment and hopefully love the feelings of drugs.
Teens feel like they need to prove something kind of like being accepting and to do so they can and will do whatever it takes to feel that likingness by their peers. Teens can worship a gang or what the gang follows. This gives teens something to believe in like a religion in a sense. Famous people know the effects and the rebellious fire inside a teen. Some literatures like, Romeo and Juliet, or even modern day rock or punk music has that rebellious touch or sound to it.
Teen life has been proven to be the hardest years in a person's life. proving this fact you can see that school work, bullying, peer pressure, and expectations from parents, relatives, or even friends makes a tens life a nightmare and the fact that us teens can deal with all of it is a blessing and a half. I personally think that a teen’s rebellious behavior whether it be pranks or drugs is just a way to dull or numb the pressure for a little bit, to cut loose from that struggle teens go through everyday.
Most teens are expected to experiment with drugs at one point in their life time and stop, but there is a small percentage that they don't stop which is bad but to every good side there is a bad and us as a society has to deal with those consequences. In conclusion to this argument teens are more likely to be rebellious at one point in their teen carrier. You know what I’m talking about those little things whether it be a fight or heck even drugs it happens to the best of us.
